Good quality makeup brushes are relatively expensive, why not maintain them?

The best way to do that is to clean them regularly and properly. All you need is a bowl and the below ingredients:

1- Empty glass bowl that will fit them all

2- 2 cups of warm water

3- 2 Tbs white vinegar

4- 2 Tbs dishwashing liquid

method:

– mix and stir all 3 ingredients together

– place the brushes inside

– dip your hands into the solution

– massage the brushes repeatedly untill all the makeup is removed

you will notice how the water color changes after cleaning

– throw away the soap water

– rinse the brushes in warm water

– place the brushes on a clean towel and leave them in the sun until naturally dry

Essential tip: do not dry your brushes using a hair dryer because the heat can damage their hairs. Natural sunlight kills bacteria and retains the hairs.

Following this method will result in both clean and bacteria free brushes; bacteria can damage your skin

This method can also be applied to hair brushes and combs, but using a separate bowl.

*try to do this once a month
